More kids, more pages on this blog. This, however, will certainly be the last one. Just like the other three, the twins are getting their own space on here, too. But since life gets in the way of this blog more often than not these days, they’re going to share a page. Sorry, guys.
And the title, The N/A Chronicles? That stands for The Nat/Avit Chronicles, not The Nonalcoholic Chronicles. Life with 5 kids without some cocktails here and there? Not a chance. So check back here to see how the story of our twins unfolds.

Tonight was Open House at school, and I always love it! Seeing these little glimpses into your school days when you’re away from me for hours on end is my favorite. You’re both such great students and are having such great years, I couldn’t be prouder. I love both of your teachers, too, so it was really fun for me to get to see them and check out everything in your classrooms. You had both reorganized your desks and were so proud to show off all your work. It made me so happy to see – I’m so proud of both of you!

Tonight was your 2nd-grade musical concert at school, and you guys did so well! I always love coming to watch these, and this one definitely did not disappoint. Great job, my littlest loves!

Snow day!! It was so random, because until about 9:00 last night there was nothing but rain! But the school district emailed us all around 7:00pm, saying that due to the forecasted gale-force winds plus predicted snow, they were preemptively cancelling everything for today. Daddy even got off work, too! And I guess it was a good thing they did, because it turned into a total blizzard overnight. I don’t think we’ve ever had a March snow day before!

Happy last day of 2nd grade, my littlest loves! You’re going to be the only 2 at Cumberland next year, which will be so strange. We haven’t had kids in only one grade there since Della was in 1st grade!

Natty Beans, you started a 5-week soccer class through the Rec Dept. tonight, and I think you’re going to love it! It’s Monday nights, and your coach is actually teaching you drills and technique instead of just running around. Plus you get to scrimmage at the ends of lessons, which you really enjoy. I’ll watch you in the World Cup in a few years!

Avit, you have been the biggest help for Miss Kate lately. A few weeks ago, you walked around the block with her and CeCe and hopped off your scooter to help teach CeCe how to ride hers. You also promised to help decorate CeCe’s wagon for the 4th of July parade, so Miss Kate took you up on your offer. And then some! This past week, she hired you twice to come over and help her with chores and decorating around their house. She made you amazing checklists, timed you to see how fast you could complete your tasks when you asked her to, and she even paid you $30 over the 2 days! One morning last week, the first thing you asked when I got home from my walk was, “Do I have to go to work today?” And you weren’t saying it like you were dreading “work,” you wanted to make sure you were perfectly on time in case it was a work day. You were off until the following day, though, so you went right back to playing on your tablet. Then the next time you had to work, you made sure to get your shower for the day done before you went over. I’m so proud of the incredible helper you are!
